Guess what?

I’ve been waiting for this day!!

It’s New Year’s Eve

I know, why am I waiting for today?

Well, because New Year means that another page is given to be filled with our amazing life. We should fill it with joy, and happiness. Although we cannot change our mistake in the past, we could learn and make things better in the future!

Well, a new year will need a resolution. It’s something we promised in the end of the year, and see if we can fulfill those promises. Well, not every resolution will be fulfilled, but if you can do that, that’s great. My resolution last year was to be more active in school organization and events, and be more confident. Surprisingly, I have been in 7 school events and organization this year! ><

I also have grown my confidence a lot since last year!!

So this year, I started a little business on my own (which I will talk about later), surprisingly, for the last 2 months, I have got 3 clients. So.. This year resolution, I want to take it to the next level (I hope… ==”)

Well, we sure need a resolution to plan and set goals to our future..

A new BEGINNING

should be filled with

JOY and HAPPINESS…

It's Christmas!!

Hey'all!!
LOL... It's been a month since I last check up on you guys...
So today is Christmas eve. I just wanted to share a little bit on what i learn this past month.

Christmas is not about giving gifts, presents, or attending parties.
It is actually also not about the dangling lights or the christmas wreath, or the tree, or even santa.
It's about Jesus and of course it's about all of us.

Christmas is about sharing and loving.
Yes, you should love yourself! But tomorrow, remember that there are many people out there who supports you no matter what.
So don't ASK, but GIVE
Give something special to your family, your best friends, your classmate, even your teachers!
This christmas is not about you. It's about everybody who had been around you to help you through your darkest moments!

So when you leave your computer or laptop or tablets or phone today, I want you to give something special to someone so you can show your love and kindness, and to say thank you.

remember not to ASK,

but to GIVE

How to study for EXAM!

It has been veeeerrryyy long time since my last post!
My school days had been very busy and even next week, we will have our final examination week...

Yeah, that means I will rarely post on December too but, I will try to do so ^^

But no worry! For today, I have these amazing tips on how you can study and pass your exams! (By not cheating though LoL)

So you need to follow these 6 rules to get a good or even a perfect mark!

1. SLEEP WELL
You will need to sleep well before exams! Of course you will spend the night before the exams reviewing or studying, but you should have enough sleep! For the best condition, you should sleep for at least 8 hours! So at 9pm, you should have stop studying or reviewing your subjects, and give your brain a break!
And, you will not get sleepy for the test!

2. WATER
Hydrate yourself every time! Water is good for your health, and helps you concentrate! Stay away from foods! Except if it is time for lunch or dinner, or if you have stomach problems, don't eat snacks while you are studying. It will reduce your concentration. So whenever you feel for a snack, just grab a bottle of water and hydrate yourself!

3. STICKIES and HIGHLIGHTER
When you review and prepare for your test, always prepare some stickies and highlighter in case if you find any important formula or dates or names that you cannot remember, a stickies can help you list those important thing! (Of course not to bring the stickies into your test room!) Or, you can highlight the test on your book. Use different kinds of colors. Expert says that colors will be memorized well than just a plain black and white!

4. GADGETS
Cellphone, Blackberries, iPhones, Tabs, iPads, Laptops, is a no no for study! Yes, some of you might open laptops or cellphones for the reason of researching or downloading the materials for the test. But other than that, no gadgets should be in the same room with you, as you study. Electromagnetic waves can harm your brain working. In other hand, emails, message, and anything else will easily distract you! So put away those gadgets for a while.

5. TIME
Timing plays a very important role on tests! Don't study all the materials for the test the night before! Study your material little by little, and only review your material the night before the test!  Also, don't study and read too much. If you want the best result, don't take 3 hours of leaning straight away. Give yourself a break every 40 to 60 minutes for 5 minutes, and then get back to work! Your brain needs some time to absorb all of those materials you have read.

6. LEARN it YOUR way!
So not all people have the same method of learning!
Here are 3 types of person and do's and don’ts for each and every type.

Kinetics : people who done their best by doing!
DO : study by practicing, doing the problems!
DON'T : study by sitting for hours!

Audio : people who done their best by listening!
DO : study in a quiet room, read it out loud!
DON'T : study with some friends! Audios should spend more time alone studying!

Visual : people who done their best by seeing!
DO : colorize your text and test materials!
DON'T : study in a room with much crowd!

So that's my 6 ways to study for exams. I hope it works for you guys, because it worked for me! So let me know if you have any question and how you prepare your exams

REJECTION

Nusa Asmaralaya means the diversity of Indonesian Culture, All cultude from different part of Indonesia are combined and become one this night, like BOROBUDUR temple, PRAMBANAN temple, house of TORAJA, Indonesian WAYANG (shadow puppet),  and many other things.

the special thing for me, is because I can work behind the curtain. It's so much better to do. because I like graphic design, and busyness LOL
I've done the logo, the ticket, the backdrop, and so many more!
I know that job is a small and invisible job, but I'm proud of myself because if I did not do it, there will be a total chaos. LOL

Sweet Treats

Hellow my fellow readers!
It's been a while...

with 10 days without any updates, today I finally could post this new interesting discovery*kind of* LOL
On the holiday of Eid Mubarak (or Indonesian is familiar for Idul Fitri or Lebaran), I went to Malang and Surabaya East Java, Indonesia

Mint Chocolate Chips Flavor

It was a very tiring journey.

but that's not what I want to talk about.
One day, after a lunch, I wanted to buy an ice cream. and I passes this little shop called MINI MELTS, and I found an interesting new form of ice cream!!! different in shape and temperature, eating this ice cream will makes you feel how a -45 degree melts, and how the shape helps to melt the ice cream *yummy*

From a lot of flavor, I pick my fave, bubblegum and mint chocolate chips : P
But in the end, it's all about the cost. for me, 16.000 rupiah (or USD1.6) is too expensive for only a little cup of those things #sigh

But whatever!! I enjoyed each and every piece of those bead-like ice cream
So that's just a quick post!!!

Yes. Being rejected is not a very good moment in our life. Even TODAY! I was rejected with 10 other members of my dance crew for the MPS (Malam Pagelaran Seni) or in English: Night Art Show at my school. Many people seen rejection negatively and to judge themselves incapable of doing so. Throw those negative thinking because that’s not what is matter.

 “REJECTION is not the end; it is the START of something new.”

Which means, you could do better, or more experience
So when somebody put a big N-O on your face, just thank them for giving a big opportunity to learn, and making you a better person!

Learning by EXPERIENCE

Being one of the mentors of SMAK 1’s early orientation program was like the cherry on top of a sundae. Because my holyday was not that interesting – unless watching TV and lying on a sofa is something you don’t do everyday, so meeting new freshmen students is something special for me.

Not like other school, being the mentor in SMAK 1 had to be very kind and outgoing and not military-based-like boot camp or something like that. Instead of yelling at someone’s face, we are likely to be their friend, that’s what I’ve learned. Because when the freshmen found themselves sad, or needing someone to talk to, we should be around because most of the time, they really need us after those (boring) disciplinary session with 2 of our teacher acting as what we called “CHIEF”. One person of my group of 12 shares what she feels after those cuh-ray-zee session and spine-torturing session for being very tired and hating the “CHIEF”. Even though most of the freshmen thought and laugh on one of the “CHIEF” – chief Lusi, for never showing her teeth (a.k.a smile or laugh) in session, I deeply knew there was still something scoring their feeling. So that’s when I came in. making them feel better, and calm them down.

“Something deeply hurtful, joking about it, still, a tiny part still will be hurt.”

And then came the big night, the last session with Ibu Cecil, and Pa Richmon, where most of the freshmen let go their ugly and hurtful thought of the disciplinary session. The entire mentor helped everyone releasing their feeling by praying of them one by one. Another great and amazing experience especially when God hand’s work on everyone.

“Making people behave better is good. But making people THINK that they were special is uh-may-zing….”

The last session would be the mentor’s creativity night. After all we’ve been through together, nothing could end those cherish moments together like the best-crazy-amazing-lame-unforgettable-freaky-creative-fun-funny-show by the entire mentor.
